Chinese takeaway fined after extra portion of mice served up with noodles

Magistrates served up fines of £3,000 and £500 court costs to the owner of a mice-infested takeaway.

Two live mice were found in a gnawed box of dried noodles in the store room. A dead mouse was discovered nearby, another dead mouse was beneath the sinks and mouse droppings were present throughout.
