A new law forcing cafes and restaurants in Wales to display their food hygiene ratings needs more resources to meet deadlines, a union has warned. Around 23,000 food outlets will have to show "scores on the doors" in prominent places from November. The union Unison fears environmental health inspectors will struggle to keep up with demand for re-inspections to improve businesses' with low ratings.
