A series of enlightening posters has been released that shows a technicolour display of health and safety messages through the ages.
The posters - which date back as far as the 1930s - are set to be published in a book celebrating a hundred years of safety advertising. After years gathering dust in a Birmingham warehouse, the posters have been re-discovered and brought back in to the light by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
