Sandwich shops, takeaways and butcher's given zero in hygiene ratings

SANDWICH shops, a snack kiosk, a butcher’s and takeaways were given the worst possible hygiene score of zero.

 In the latest food hygiene ratings, inspectors ranked 13 businesses with the  lowest score possible.

 Conwy county fared the worst with six  food-serving establishments needing “urgent improvement,” followed by four in Denbighshire , two in Wrexham and one in Gwynedd . 

  But two of those have since had their ratings revised and improved after being re-inspected - although those scores have not yet been published.
