Takeaway posed ‘public health risk’

A takeaway owner has been fined £10,000 after EHOs found a serious risk of food poisoning from cross-contamination at his premises.

An inspection by Bedford BC EHOs of the Hot and Spice Takeaway, The Broadway, Bedford in June 2010 uncovered a number of food hygiene and health and safety offences.
