Atlantic salmon and sea trout caught at sea or in UK rivers are known to be at risk of being infected with a parasitic worm called anisakis.
Parasites in fish, particularly anisakis, can cause serious health problems if eaten alive, including acute gastrointestinal symptoms and severe allergic reaction. Read full article from here:
